Everybody grows, after all. It means growing bigger and better every day. Growth can sometimes be scary — but it can also be exciting. Let’s grow together!
You can’t stop your kids from growing up, and growing up means learning new things, becoming more independent. As we grow older, we learn to do things for ourselves — tie our shoes, make our beds. Personal development is the process of being the best you that you can be. It means having goals and striving to achieve them. Whether you’re learning something new or meeting new people, personal growth is about becoming the individual we desire to be.
Life is subject to changes, and sometimes these changes can be difficult. It can be tough to have to switch schools, make new friends or leave someone we love. But, remember, growth often emerges from these difficult things. If we can accept change and learn to adapt we can then make ourselves stronger. Life’s trials challenge us so that we may become our best selves.
Tough times create tough challenges. It might be the experience of failing a test in school or losing a game with friends. These times may be tough, but they also make us stronger. And when we’re having some issues, we learn from our mistakes. Tough times teach us to be strong, and survive. It’s during the down times that we actually pull through that we’re really growing and getting stronger.
Growth is a superpower we all possess and carry within us. You have to try new things and venture out of your comfort zone. But when we harness the power of growth, we can do incredible things. Whether that means learning to ride a bike or delivering a speech in front of a group people, personal growth enables us to go to new heights. We can do anything we want if we embrace change and force ourselves to do it.
We are always in a state of ‘motion’ since the day we come to this world. (as Humans) We learn to crawl, walk and talk as babies. And as we grow, we go to school, make friends and discover what we love. Throughout the stages of our lives, we have new opportunities to mature and educate ourselves. Then childhood becomes teenager and teenager becomes adult, but we continue to evolve ― stronger and wiser and better. The process of growth is never done in our lives.
